defa-spektrum distributes several books, magazines and other articles for the DEFA-Foundation. They can be ordered at defa-spektrum.

The anual book „apropos: Film“ and the series offer a number of scientific essays and reports of the DEFA history. Futhermore a number of books can be ordered that were supported by the DEFA Foundation funds or are thematically connected to the DEFA Foundation. Selected manuscripts of scientific projects developed with DEFA-Foundation money are distributed, too.

Also, the remainders of the magazine „Film und Fernsehen“ and special editions of several other film magazines can be ordered through defa-spektrum.

Besides written publications the defa-spektrum GmbH also distributes a number of other products such as gimmicks and posters.

All publications distributed by defa-spektrum are available only in the original German version. The discription of the single items is therefore not translated.
